An Artists' Life

At last after almost three years, Cousin Sherry from NY has arrived. What a great event. We have been laughing and talking and the usual sort of hanging around thing for a couple of hours, and I think it will take us several more to begin to catch up. Although we talk on the phone almost every day, so it's really not that dire.

What is sad is saying goodbye to these pansies, because they are my favorites. When I first saw this color, I was absolutely amazed, because one flower embraces my favorite color combination - orange and purple. So I am putting up a picture in the hope that it isn't too blurry to enjoy. I'll put up a small picture, because that makes the blurry ones look better, I think.

My biggest question is what happened to Lauren, Jared, Garrick, and Lori last night. We waited, and waited, and then waited until 11:30PM, and finally gave up and went to bed. We expected them for the night, but where did they go? A time warp? Did I email them during my computer crash? Why did no one think to call me? Oh this is terrible. Maybe they will stop on the way back to Boston.
